The College reserves the right to cancel any advertised courses at the College due to insufficient admissions or enrolments. The College authorities may, due to very low attendance making it impossible to continue teaching a given class, cancel affected classes, courses or programmes.

Attendance

A record of attendance is kept for each student. All students are expected to attend classes in accordance with their timetable and required number of hours for their course. The College reserves the right to bar a student from examinations and withdraw them from their course if the students' attendance record shows that they have attended fewer than 80% of their scheduled classes. In such cases, no fees will be refunded to the student.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent the student from attending their classes, the College must be informed immediately to seek advice on how best to handle their situation. In the case of an illness that prevents the student from attending their classes for five consecutive days or more, the student will need to present a Medical Certificate to the College to avoid being marked absent for the classes they have missed. Extra classes may need to be scheduled to teach the material covered during the period of illness or otherwise. The College reserves the right to pass some or all of the extra cost for these classes to the student.

Students who do not arrive at College to complete their enrolment and commence their classes in time for the start of their course inform the College in advance of their situation and acquire an appropriate extension on the start of their course. Late students who do not fulfill these requirements will be deemed to have absented themselves from their classes and may be expelled from the College, in accordance with the Colleges regulations on non-arrival.

Punctuality

Teachers will report latecomers to the Administration Department on a regular basis. Habitually late or absent students may be required to explain in writing the reasons for their inability to keep their Academic Performance Record in order. Students must arrange to acquire and read the required textbooks and course study materials prior to the relevant class. Students should also arrange to purchase such stationary as may be needed for their studies.

Where applicable, the student must seek and obtain a certificate of eligibility from the appropriate professional institution and pay the registration fee to the respective body directly. When requested, the College will inform, counsel and assist students in negotiating different external examination entry procedures. However, it is the responsibility of the students to keep themselves informed and prepared for such examinations as recommended by the College and to register with these authorities as Student Members well in time.
