A Philanthropist, Mr Mahajan, is the chairman of the Board of Governors with Mr. J B Goyal IAS (Retd), former Secretary Technical Education, Govt of Punjab as Vice Chairman. Mrs Rekha Mahajan, Mrs Shilpa Mahajan and Mrs Deepti Batra are the trustee members. A leading Industrialist and former Chairman of PHD, Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Ashok Khanna and, Managing Director, Morepan Laboratories Limited, Mr. Sushil Suri are also on the Board of Governors.

Spear-headed by top academicians, Dr. I.T Group of Institutes has competent, committed faculty, whose efforts are catalyzed by experts from industry and reputed B-Schools. Managing Director, Prof P P Arya is a former faculty member of University Business School (UBS), PU, Chandigarh. He has 14 books and 50 research papers in the field of management to his credit. He has supervised ten UBS students for their Ph D theses, and more than 20 consultancy projects. He remained on the governing bodies of Panjab University for a number of years. Prof C L Singla, Principal Dr. I.T Institute of Management & Technology has 40 years of teaching experience including 15 years as principal of a reputed college at Ambala. He has authored several books and research articles on management. Prof R K Dixit, Principal Dr. I.T Business School (Women) is an outstanding academician with forty years of experience in teaching and research. He holds doctorate in finance from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof R D Anand did his LLM from Panjab University, Chandigarh and Ph D from University of London (UK).

Dr. I.T is situated in the close vicinity of Chandigarh–the city beautiful, on Chandigarh Rajpura Road, which is fast emerging as an educational hub in the area. There is a fleet of buses with the Institutes to facilitate the students from Chandigarh, Patiala, Ambala, Panchkula, Mohali and Dera-Bassi. We have separate hostels for Boys and Girls providing homely environment with parental affections.
