Dr. I.T Group of Institute Organized Inter B – School Declamation Contest Aprajita’09 on Women’s Day.

Prof Aruna Goel, former UGC Member, Chairperson Women Studies, Punjab University was the Chief Guest. Students from 10 B – School participated in the contest.

Running Trophy was won by Lovely Professional University, the Prof. Aruna Goel while addressing the audience said that the basic mindset towards women needs to be changed. She mentioned about the struggle she did for education in earlier days and emphasized the need for walking along with the time by completely changing the outlook of the society.

Prof P.P Arya the Managing Director of Dr. I.T. Group of Institutes welcomed the Chief Guest & said that Women are pillars of society. In the present scenario women are contributing towards every sphere of life whether political, social or economical.
