Dr. I.T. Institute of Management And Technology held a Freshers Party "Splendour 2007" to welcome new students to the institute. The Chairman of the Institute Mr. M.K. Mahajan was the chief guest of the occasion. Various cultural items solo songs by Amit Dogra, Gurpreet-(MBA), solo dance by Prinkle – (MBA), Preya, Probhjot and Palvi –(BBA) were presented on the occasion. The Bhangra Beats were so contagious that even the staff joined the act and matched steps with the students. A fashion show on traditional theme was also organized. On the basis of which Mr. & Miss Fresher were crowned from MBA and graduation courses. Mr. Freshers for Dr. I.T. Institute of Management And Technology is Mr. Aman Nayyar and Miss Freshers Dr.I.T.Institute of Management And Technology is Miss Preya. Mr. Freshers Dr. I.T. Business School is Mr. Vivek Sethi and Miss freshers Dr. I.T. Business School is Miss Jasmeen Goria. Titles of Ms. Charming and Mr. Personality were also declared. Sangeeta became Miss charming. Shekhar, Mayank and Sanjeev became Mr. Personality. Dr. P.P. Arya, Director of the Institute encouraged the students to become meaningful citizen of India and help India to end economic slavery. He also gave away prizes to the winners. Ms. Deepti Mahajan, CEO of the Institute raised the slogan "Chakde Dr. I.T." and gave vote of thanks.
