Dr. I.T. Institute of Management & Technology, near Jalalpur, Banur celebrated its first annual Sports Meet with great enthusiasm.

The Chief Guest Prof. Ajmer Singh, Arjun Awardee and former Director Sports and former Vice-Chancellor of Lakshmi Bai National Institute of Physical Education Gawalior and Prof. N.S. Maan former Chairman Physical Education Department, Panjab University hoisted the institute flag and declared the meet-open. The meet got a flying start with traditional lamp lighting and which was followed by march-past by different classes.

Both indoor (Chess, Carom, Table – Tennis & Ludo) and outdoor games (cross country, relay race, 100 meter race, shot put, three leg race, bori race , skipping for girls, tug of war for both boys & girls and volleyball matches were keenly contested.

Major Singh Gill from Australia and Vic Narang CEO, Mobi-tel USA and Mr. M.K. Mahajan, Chairman of Dr. I.T. Planet gave prizes to winners of different events.

Prof. P.P. Arya, Director of the Institute welcomed the guests and gave comprehensive account of institute academic plans.
